Went to my local bank and asked if they had any large dollar coins, to my surprise they said they had gotten $200 dollars worth. I bought them all and looked though them. No silver unfortunately, but I was fortunate enough to find one type two!
Can anyone explain the difference for all to see ? I'm interested in learning about this type 1 ,type 2 .

"This variety is also found on a very few copper-clad Ike dollars in 1972 - and this is an extremely rare and valuable variety!" ...Nice!
