On a totally unrelated note pertaining to the question posed by @Matthew Kruse, Whitman did indeed produce albums for both the silver and nickel-brass threepence. Alternatively, you could make your own custom album with blank Dansco pages, but considering Dansco's supply issues and anemic production, you would probably be better off looking elsewhere.

Playing off 1918, a Newfoundland or Canadian fifty-cents piece.

Geez. I thought I made a faux pas (sheesh, French and its silent Xes and Ses) - aka, stupid mistake. But nope, 1918 to 1918 is valid. Nothing for nearly four days. Are we done here?

I get stuck on a thread that has gone this long because I try not to avoid posting the same coin more than once. I looked to see how many 1918 posts I made and there is a bunch. Same with Canada. Takes time to check prior posts. Forget about Great Britain. I don't even check there because I don't have images of most of the ones I own. Same bit of an issue in the "post by theme" thread that has gone dormant. How many times can you go back to an "animals" theme and not have already have a bunch? Don't even know if I posted this one before but it's not that appealing so I probably have not. Not even going to check.

I solved that issue - the concern about posting the same coin twice. I don't look. Checking sounds like too much work and not enough fun. And I won't really care if I post the same coin - until someone points out that I've posted the same coin multiple times. Well, maybe even then I won't care too much. But I'll make a note (that I'll probably lose) not to post that specific coin again.

A half anna - 1942 - from Gwalier, or India for our purposes.

EIC, Bombay mint, 1/2 anna, 1835. When I want to check whether or not I have posted a coin before, I use the search function up at the top right of the page. Old Lord Marcovan taught me that trick. For the world tour thread, I keep a document listing all the coins I have posted there. It is 54 pages now.
Note: I just checked and this is the 4th time I have posted this coin in this thread...

That's how I have been checking. It's still a problem because I did not put full details including the year in many so I may have 20 posts that just show "India" in my description. To get to the details I need to right click to show the post in another window. I know better now and put full descriptions in my posts.

With 1835 I take us back to the USA with this half cent. She's in decent shape, too!
