Nice note. Looks like PMG graded it a bit harshly as I looks like a higher grade to me, but I don't have it in-hand. If you get the time, I'd love to see all of your note collection as I know from past posts that you have some nice ones.
Thanks. Way too many notes to post. The collection covers the time period of $1 small-size notes from 1928 through 1969. There's some real pricey ones in that group that I likely won't ever get. The actual count that I don't hold out hope for is unknown since some of them are poorly documented paper tests. There were the Gilbert tests and the Natick tests. Wouldn't be surprised if there were more. And there are a couple regular issues that are extremely hard to find. One big US currency dealer that I met told me there's one or two that he's never even seen.
@kanga I collect only $1 U.S. notes but I'm not crazy about filling ever single slot as some are just too expensive, but I have picked up a few expensive notes. Living in the woods, in a log cabin, storage is my main concern. Fires and the damp environment, but I try my best to keep them as best I can. I need to send several in so they are sealed and better protected. Keep sharing. Love them.
Glad for you. All those years of collecting is very committed and full of stories. Just had a phone call from an old friend. Full of remember when you, I, and we did stuff.
