A beautiful clash on a US Gold Dollar Coin from 1855. The entire head is a strong clash.

I don't have any mis-struck coins to show, just a question. I have two 25 peso, Mexican 1968 Olympic coins which I have owned for more than 50 years. Can someone give me an idea of their value, as they are basically uncirculated.

Mine was $425.00 They get expensive in higher grades. I am very happy with mine. When I get my credit card debt paid off I will get the DDO 1972

Defective planchet. Blowhole.
I believe hole was in planchet before strike.

 

Too bad, it is such a good looking coin. I had some old Canadian coins with Victoria on them, but for the like of me, they are gone, but I still have some George VI.

No, it is not too bad if you are an error collector. I would be pleased to have this defective planchet in my collection.
