IM starting something simple a BU war nickel set i did my 1945 S a little while ago.Now this is the second one what got me hooked was the steps. It may look dual but I'm sure that's just the pictures.Overall a nice solid strike and looks like it just sat around for most of its life. Also guess weather it got FS or not if you want to.
Hard to tell from those photos. I can't really tell if I'm seeing circulation wear, especially in Jefferson's hair, or just a "flat photo." Appears AU from those photos.
Yes the sellers photos aren't the best I assure you.To say its not AU the hair is just a little soft these late war nickels had some problems. The last few guess are scary so far.
I can't tell anything as regards the steps but the grade looks low AU to me. That's how I think I'd be bidding on these pics, anyway.
Could just be the pictures/angle of coin, etc., But it looks uninspiring. This is a crazy common coin and I would look for one that would knock my socks off.
I will say a 65 with no steps due to whatever may or may not be going on between pillars 1&2. Small die crack in the hair??
Only one got it right, and sometimes the bad pictures people don't go for turns out to be a great deal surprise for the best. For those that are curious its in a first issue line fatty, they didn't last long only for 1996.
