You did really well, the other day I walked by a Coinstar machine and I checked out the reject slot. Not a bad haul, think it was around 40 cents but what really surprised me was all the Canadian coins I got, quite a surprise! :D

Okay Bunny, show us what the CoinStar rejected. I know it must have kicked back some of them.

Nice haul to add to your trip fund. Wish I could go, but health has pretty much ended my world travels.

Where is the "reject bin" on a coin star?

It's the bottom boxed shape thingy on the bottom half of the machine, it's the coin return. :D

Wow, it's right out in front of everyone and nobody notices when it has coins in it?

Some?.. More like a lot! This was just for today.
At least $20.00 - $30.00 more. I put them in 2 or 3 more times but they were still rejected. I'm going to attempt to clean them up better for early next years batch ;)

    I need a rock tumbler!

3 or 4 dollars worth of silver should be important down there. Strange indeed.

@paddyman98 I don't know if it's the photo or the way the "rejects"
are presented, but I see very few nickels and cents.

I didn't bother with the pennies this time. There were hundreds of them but it only adds up to like $6.00 or $7.00

The nickels are the denomination I find the least of when I detect. Sometimes I don't find any at all.

I had several hundred dollars in change stored in coffee cans and such. I took it to my local back and left it for about 3 weeks. They crunched it, as they had time, and made a deposit to my account. No charge.

I roll up my change at home and the bank doesn't bother checking the rolls since I'm a customer. That might work.

Here ya go. This one holds 6 lbs so should be plenty big enough and with the coins you clean and cash in, it would pay for it and you'd still have it for future use.

Use the crushed walnut shells to clean them. That's what we used to clean jet engines in the Air Force.

A word of warning, if you use the rock tumbler, leaving it running out in the garage. Those things are NOISY.
