Pattern coin 1965

    Cool Coin even if it's a re-strike ! Martha is looking more like George is the only drawback .:(

    How would I know for sure from what I read the restrike is made of silver the coin I have is gold in color it also says all of the restrikes will be certified by NGC. Is there any way to tell for sure what I have? Thank you for the information

    Also, the patterns were not just produced in 1965. They were also made in 1982 and 1999, so, if not a re-strike, which version do you have. And with very low numbers made it could even be a counterfeit

    This coin has a reeded edge and weighs 12.7 grams does anyone have any information that would help

    I don't know about the 82's but the 1999's used a different reverse hub design and the positioning of the lettering with respect to the central design was a little different.

    Yes you are correct the design lines up with the 1965 pattern but the weight lines up with the weight of the 1964 Kennedy half so does the diameter
