1885 morgan - estimate grade

    Hey guys, how does this one look? And can you tell from the images which of 1885 this is? CC,S,O or regular? Thanks.

    Why do you think it's not "regular" (Philadelphia)? Do you suspect someone removed the mint mark or think it's a counterfeit? (The mint mark should be above the "DO" in "ONE DOLLAR" on the back.

    This is a Philadelphia minted Morgan Dollar. I would say it has XF details but it looks like it has been artificially toned. The color's and patterns don't look natural IMHO.

    Thanks, thats what I wanted to know. Where to find the mint mark.

    It doesn't really look artificially toned, but the obverse looks as if it has been cleaned, which has resulted in irregularities in the toning.
