OK, which one of you forum members bought this coin and will you slab it?

Not me, it didnt grade good enough for me. I'll wait for a better one to come along.

Well, if the owner wanted to slab it, he or she would have to crack it out of its NGC PR64 holder and resubmit it.

Something tells me that's not happening.:whistle:

 

Yep, I also believe that PCGS has also looked at this coin in the past and graded it PR64 as well. I don't think it will get an upgrade.

I think I would just leave it as it is.

It's a "Copy" made in China.

 

So who needs an upgrade with a coin like that?

I didn't buy it, but one of the forum members on the NGC chat boards is a previous owner of it. Needless to say, his collection is amazing.

 

Wasn't me or the wife would have had me killed, and so far that hasn't happened.

The same auction did sell a mountain of double eagles, check out the coins and prices realized. A major gold collection was sold.

I'm thinking about the copper I could buy with that kind of money. I bought a couple pieces on Saturday for something like .02% of that money, and I'm happy.
