    Obv: GALLIENVS AVG, radiate and cuirassed bust, right.
    Rev: FIDES AVG, Mercury standing right, holding marsupium (purse) and caduceus; PXV (=TR P XV) in exergue.

Ulysses walking right, wearing mariner’s clothing and pileus, holding staff in left hand and extending right hand towards his dog, Argus, who stands left at Ulysses’ feet with his head raised towards him; C•MAMIL downwards in left field, LIMETAN [TA ligate] upwards in right field.     Eagle standing left / Facing gorgoneion, tongue protruding, within incuse square.


    Bought this thinking it's a veeeery interesting flan. Actually the coin is simply broken because of heavy crystallization.
    To make things even more interesting, after a few weeks, when checking the album, I found it broken in 3 small parts. Had to use a Super Glue equivalent, managed to fix it, but ...

    This clipped coin should count, unfortunately I think it's lost the identifiable parts so it can only generally be dated to the late 13th or early 14th century.
