A while back I submitted a 1942-D Mercury dime to be graded. Turns out it was just that, a 1942-D XF slabbed. I used that membership to submit 2 more coins for slabbing. 1 1909-S V.D.B. and 1 1914-D error planchet peel on reverse. (both seen earlier on here) AHHHHH Lemonade is a good thing.
When my wife and I were raising our grandson we always put a shot of bourbon in his bottle at bed time. A happy baby who slept thru the nite. Down side, we're still taking him to the AA meetings.
A lady a work asked me one time what to do with a teething issue when you have no teething lotion. I told her to rub a little whiskey on the gums. Wow, she said, I have plenty of that at home.
I have heard that too about the sore baby gums and whiskey. Problem is 30 years later the man is STILL coming back for the "Whiskey gum massage"
When I was a wee tot, my folks used to put a tablespoon of coffee in my bottle to keep me awake until they wanted me to nap and a tablespoon of bourbon in the bottle if they wanted to make sure I didn't wake during nap time. If any of the children were coughing or "acting croupy" they would dump a load of paregoric in the vaporizer and let us "sweat it out". It's a small wonder my siblings and self didn't grow up to be dope fiends like the guys in Reefer Madness.
