Great looking quarter! I remember as a youngster growing up and getting one of those in change at the store or somewhere else, to me it was always quite a treat and made me feel bada$$!

 

Yes you do. She shows some wear but not a lot and she’s beautiful.

 

Such a beautiful coin! SLQs in that grade and above are wonderful and challenging to collect. I pray to win the lottery to own a 1916 in a higher grade.

 

Nice coin. Where did you acquire it from? The wear on the obverse looks odd to me, like maybe it was damaged in addition to just circulation wear.

 

Purchased at my LCS. No damage. I think what you’re seeing is from the photo lights and the toning. From 1 to 4 o’clock the toning is not as strong.

 

Probably correct. I was focused on the TRVST.

 

In hand it’s weakly struck in that area.
