    So what is going on between "STATES" & "OF" on this Jefferson Nickel? Lamination? Cud? Die Gouge? PMD?

    Nice Lamination issue.

    It's worth whatever a collector of such errors is willing to pay for it. On a Silver War Nickel maybe a nice small premium.

    Looks like a nice lamination that's about to fall off!!! Nice war nickel very common on them.

    Nice lamination. Looks to be part retained and part detached. As paddy said, could be worth a little premium. Thanks for sharing

    Definitely a lamination. You can see how it peeled away from the rim. Those are the types of pieces that interest me.

    It’s a lamination error that folded back onto the surface of the coin. A definite keeper so protect it.

    Appears to be a fold over of a lamination. Nice on a war nickel, IMHO
