Barbers in better grades are expensive so I chose this one for a type set. Not for my Dansco but for my Whitman’s type set. It’s a little tougher date with a mintage of 662,000. The date is 1905. The mark on her neck is from a small detached lamination. Also a small one on the reverse above a star.

That little shiny spot under her nose almost stopped me from buying her but since the price was right for the album it was going in I decided to get her.

How much was it? Aside from the nose which draws my attention immediately, it doesn't seem too bad.

Under $20 and that’s not bad for a Barber of this date and condition.

Barber any coins, dimes, quarters, halves are pricey. Yes it was a great bargain.
