Is this a die crack on my 1860 Half Dime? If so, does that mean anything, or is it common?

    Pictures really are to blurry to tell but by the looks of it to me just a large scratch.Yes they are very common and most don't add any value.

    Gregg, you need to post photos FULL IMAGE (after uploading a photo, two buttons appear; Thumbnail and Full Image. Click Full Image.) so we can easily enlarge and examine them.

    Yeah, that just looks like a scratch on the coin, not a die crack. Try feeling with your fingernail to tell if there is a raised area.

    Don't forget to crop the photo so just the coin shows.
