I have a raw example in my set that is about a fine with a nice CircCam look, but realized I "needed" a higher grade example. So I recently bought this one direct from Sheridan Downey. Your thoughts appreciated and guess the assigned grade if you like.

Beautiful Bust half with original surfaces… I’ve seen the coin, that’s why I can’t GTG anymore. I’d personally grade it AU55 though.

from the photos, I would have guessed mid-AU; in hand the coin has full luster in the fields with no breaks, but some high point rub. I really like the look of the hair curls with edges that look sharp enough to nick your finger.. finger nickin' good!

Nice surfaces. I like it. I would have guessed 55 but can't argue with 58.

Dang, i took the more yellowish areas on the obverse to be remaining luster, and the grayer areas to be where the luster was gone. The perils of grading from photos, i guess.
