I'm having a tough time with this one. Is this just a die chip near the MM, or is it metal movement from the lamination crack? Or some sort of issue with the MM punch itself?

Looking at it from an angle I'm almost wondering if it's an edge of a lamination that's been curled back on itself, perhaps from a hit?

    Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks!

It appears to be a lamination to me.

To me it looks like the cent has a lamination crack. When the mint mark was applied, the crack had a peel. It appears to be a small amount of metal from the top right of the S under the bottom left of the 5 that is pushed left to right. As mint marks were had punched this looks like what happened.
