    • Vibia Sabina, the daughter of L. Vibius and Matidia
    • Matidia was the daughter of Marciana, Trajan's sister
    • So Sabina was Trajan's grand-niece
    • Plotina was Trajan's wife and probably ~10 years older than Sabina
    • Lucius Licinius Sura was a Roman Senator from Spain and 2 time consul, who was friends with Trajan
"Finally, through the good offices of Sura, [Hadrian] was instantly restored to a friendship with Trajan that was closer than ever, and — a marriage advocated by Plotina, but, according to Marius Maximus, little desired by Trajan himself."
