Hey gang, Im writing this on my phone so I need to keep it breif. FUN 2010 kicked off for dealers and early birds yesterday afternoon. I noticed brisk wholesale sales between dealers which I was a part of. I had no problem selling any of my coins. The gold, key date, and semi key date coins were the first to go. I left the floor close to 7PM and it seemed that the party was still going strong. I talked to Scott Reiter with Bowers and Merena this morning and he said auction reaults were strong. Today the public was out in force after being let in at 10. I picked up a large order from NGC which I sold immedeately. Walking around the floor today I did hear various dealers mentioning how people are having trouble "pulling the trigger". This is to be expected in the current economy. I also noticed the lack of what I call wonder coins on the floor. It to me seems that the really nice coins are just not being offered for sale. Sure there are nice coins here... but the really spectacular stuff is not here. I have hardly found a coin I think I need. I also met several CT'ers and had some great discussions and saw their newest treasures. Overall things seem encouraging to this little fish swimming in a big pond. More when I get home.
