My fix is easy without offending I see Bentley never open and move on ? A couple others come to mind but you'll know them after years here!
OK, here's a comment - no, we can't stop him from doing it because he's not doing anything wrong. As long as they are legitimate posts and threads members can post as much as they want. I can tell ya this though Sal, responses like yours, and a few others, typically do nothing but bring on more of whatever it is you're complaining about. It's really a pretty simple matter to not read or even look at threads/posts you don't want to see. Or if you wish you can use the Ignore button - that IS what it's for after all. Now I have a question for you - - why ? There's absolutely nothing wrong with posting 2, 3 or 20 posts or threads in a row. This forum specifically exist so members can post as much or as little as they like. You ever look at this page Sal ? https://www.cointalk.com/members/ Look at the number of posts listed there, are any of those members do something wrong ? I think not, nor should you, or anybody else. Nor is it for any member to judge what another member post or doesn't post. As long as it is within the forum rules, members can post as much or as little as they wish. And if some don't like that, well sorry about that, but that's how it is.
Because everyone needs to know when a member ignores another member. Public announcement canceling. It s a thing.
If you don't like the post, pass and move on. You are also entitled to an opinion, use it or ignore it, simple as that. Why get angry when it's better to "BE NICE."
I'm not sure I understand this post. If it referring to who I think it is, the poster has problems, more than can be fixed here, but the post states "Multiple Posts in a row," which I haven't witnessed. Inane posts in great numbers but not the same one posted numerous times. I don't block posters as many provide entertainment and prove, "They do exist." LOL
I think it's the lack of consideration on his part that bothers many...myself included...that he would have either the gaul/brashness or the hapless ignorance to post as he does, taking up (hogging) the forum space and everyone's time and effort to have to work around them, ignore them, etc. Most of us are older and were raised in a different time and ethic. I tried to suggest to him the other day that he consolidate his photos into a just a couple of emails...most of those were simply to show/nothing specific and no need to have just one per post. Don't know.
I have had conversations with him and he also mentioned the VA once on the forum to someone and I feel he is very sincere. I have volunteered working with autistic spectrum people in art and music and even coins often ( and it is sometimes sad) but in their mind they are being "normal" and fitting in and having a hell of a good time. I think most members if in a problematic life would wish to be treated as others. If the forum helps a little bit, we are all better for it. We never know when an accident, old age, genetics, infections , will put ourselves or our friends and family members in a similar situation. I am not normal and I know it and I Am who I am and I am sure some of you all are the same. Take care. Jim
Good points! I poke fun now and then about some posts and hope they aren't taken personally. I pass over posts that don't interest me anyway so it doesn't bother me if someone posts a lot. We are all different and need to respect one another.
My final post on this thread!! Do you remember all the good content Morgandude has brought to this site? Even after a hi-jack accu that I didn't now I did, Wife sick tons of knowledge ( 2 years in the weeds) and lovers silver if we all knew half what he does about Morg's I think his OP matters? Just my OP
This is our web site. I say no. Cuz a lot of us members do strange things. New members need to be sorta nurtured at the beginning. Some take longer. Please don’t try to change this. Take me for instance. Not so bright but love coins!!! Also love you members. You members putting up with me give me great joy. Honestly you members are so smart You got to treat us piece of work like your the educators
