1966 1/10 Balboa

    Here is a 1/10th balboa from Panama. It's proof. I took the picture with a new technique.

    You should get one. This one cost something like 75¢, but it looks really nice. In fact, you can buy a complete Panama proof set for something like $15, and that's for a real U.S. Mint one, not that Franklin Mint nonsense.

    The balboas are a great series of coins. I have a couple of proof mint sets dated 1971 & 1972 (that I paid around $12-$13 each for back in 2005); as well as several silver balboas of various denominations and mintage years. My favorite one is a 1947 VN Balboa in mint state.
