Thats not necessarily bad - it'll be easy to find a buyer for your "extras" and you'll make a few bucks in the process!

Call China's 911, they have plenty of duplicates, if you know what I mean. You would get through to them long, long, before you would the U.S. Mint, duh!

  4. Well apparently I mistakenly ordered one of each coin twice today. Got two order confirmation emails. TC

Luckily you're probably not going to have too much trouble getting rid of the extras. And now you'll get to pick the one with the fewest bag marks to keep. :)

    What bags? o_O

They shouldn’t have any marks since they’re coming individually packaged.

Took a few tries, but I got one of each today. I'm a happy camper.

My guess is that some coin will clink with some other coin at some point before they're packaged, though.

The aggravation is exactly why I quit buying anything from the mint. I'd rather pay the premiums asked by sellers at a later date than loose brain cells dealing with the mint's web sight.

It really wasn’t that bad this time.

They came out at 9am PST and I got a confirmation email by 9:02am PST.

I had to refresh a couple of times but 2 minutes is still pretty quick.

Imagine how beautiful these coins would look if they start toning 100 years from now.

The higher purity silver would make the colors even more vibrant!

completely forgot that the Morgan (P) and the Peace were going to be on sale today. I try not to get in a huff (as my wife calls it) about buying coins on the Mint. I have had pretty good luck this year with the Mint. First of all, the ASE-W T-2 was in my enrollment and I got 3 and my wife got 2. For the T-1, we both got 1. I have been collecting the 1/10th oz gold coins but I missed getting a T-1, so I will have to get one from ebay. I bought a few 1 ounce Gold coins, a couple of 1/2 ounce, and a couple of 1 quarter ounces in proof from the mint, but I can't afford the Mint's prices now, so I will stick to the 1/10th ounce gold coins.
I did get 3 of the 4 coins of the Mayflower series. I really like the set with a Mayflower coin from the U.S. and 1 from Great Britain. and the Mayflower single gold coin.
I try to get a gold coin commemoratives when I can. I really went whole hog on the Apollo 11 series of coins.
One thing that I try to do is get gold coins from very special commemoratives.
Anyway, the best to all of you and may you have good luck in your collecting.

If it helps one thing I do is set it on my phone calendar for an alert then my phone makes noise 15 mins before they go on sale so I can’t miss it.

Oh and is this the 1/10th you’re missing?

Just curious because maybe if you got a type 2 one for me we could trade or something?

Most of the time, I like to get the Proof version, but now, beggars can't be too choosie.

My wife had something she needed me to go on and I don't dare say that I need to stay home because I want to spend $300 to $400 on a coin. That would put me in the out house for sure.

Exactly what I did, unfortunately when it went off I was on a call with a co-worker so I didn't get started until a bit after noon. Fortunately most of the getting-started problems weren't as bad this time.

I got one Peace dollar on my lunch break today without too much trouble. I snagged an S-Morgan last week only because I was curious about the web site and managed to sail all the way through to the checkout so I went ahead and paid for it.

I've always like the Peace dollar design, so why not? I kind of wish they had done it in proof but BU is ok.
