I haven't been a ASE collector but did get a 2020 V75 last year. I sold it to a dealer at a recent coin show and was able to get enough money to buy a proof 1875 IHC.
Well, I don't want to get too excited yet...but I was able to get in before everything crashed and get out with a successful order. Fun side note: the expected fulfillment day is my birthday. So that will be a nice potential present.
I just got mine pretty quick. So far this has definitely been the easiest & quickest US Mint order I've placed for a high demand product.
Just keep trying. That happened to me a couple times last time. Refresh and if it doesnt work refresh again. Eventually it will let you through.
Interesting, I kept getting cloudflare error pages through their 'dallas' link for the first 5 minutes simply trying to refresh the page. But once I got through, it was pretty painless up until the final 'buy' step. That I had to repeat 4 or 5 times with the 'missing page' error. Finally went through around 9 minutes into it.
Congrats! I got my email verification at 9:02 and I was shocked at how quickly and easily I made it through checkout this time.
It's a miracle! I got in, loaded cart & checked out within 5 minutes. They must have improved something. Yes I did have the typical gateway errors, etc., but I got through fairly fast! Two of each.
As I suspected it would do, it failed. I sat for half hour, placed the order and then it was denied. I got the last step and it kicked me off. I am getting nothing. The U.S. Mint site sucks plain and simple. They don't care that it sucks as long they can sell to their favorite dealer customers who buy in volume.
Hopefully my recent apathy to the mint and their products and resulting no attempt at playing their game helped you all get your ASE's.
Well, I for one actually want to keep one. So I'm happy...as long as the orders go through (my wife was also successful.)
