You are absolutely correct...but if you feel that the shipping was overcharged it is also the bidders choice to give poor feedback. I actually think the idea I read about having free shipping and just raising the starting price a few dollars to cover it is a good idea. I know I look for free shipping auctions as a starting point. You might get more hits on your auctions that way and in the end it is earning you the same money.
