Need help with 1965 Quarter

    Hi, I looked on this coin a lot my opinion of course this is doubled one....but some people saying this is not. Thank you.

    I don't see anything but wear and circulation damage.

    Not a DD just damaged with wear and tear to bad its just one year to late.

    I don't see anything but circulation damage from years of being handled. The marks that you are seeing as doubled, actually look like old hits that have distorted the numbers and letters. If it was DD or other doubling, I believe you would see more of it and some consistency.

    As you can see, the outside lettering has spread toward the rim. A classic sign of die deterioration. Added to the circulation wear you have a well worn coin that has seen it's fair share of commercial enterprise. Not a doubled die.
