Which is it? 1885 or 1895 Indian Head Cent

    I am not sure if this is a 1885 or 1895? Indian Head Penny.
    I’m thinking 1885 but would appreciate someone else’s opinion.

    1895 for sure. You can tell by the position of the lowest feather. In mid 1886 it was changed from pointing at the "IC" in AMERICA to pointing at the "CA".

    Looks like a 9 to me.

    I am not sure but I am going to go with 1895. Why? Because that is what it looks like to me.

    I know it couldn't be this but it looks like a 1895 over 1885. Where the 9 is over the 8.

    The digit in question is a nine.

    Notice the difference on the left digit, the 8, compared to the right digit, the 9.
