It's been a while since I have received a proof coin in change but I love when I do. I can't tell is this clad or silver?
I get random proofs quite often at my package store. Guess people get bored of their proof sets and break them open for cigarettes or beer.
Wow, cool. I wouldn’t have recognized it as a proof at first, maybe. And my eyesight being what it is these days, might’ve overlooked the mint mark as well.
Can always tell by the edge if silver or not. I believe I see a little on the edge of the coin of the OP. I got this one last week! Heavily impaired proof didn't even notice it.
