    I fixed the orientation of the reverses for you.

    It's a very old design actually. This is Felix Schlag's original design for the Jefferson nickel that won the design competition in 1937 I believe, before the design change in 1938.

    The SEGS holder nickels were produced by Ron Landis for the Full Steps Nickel Club in 2002. 1,938 sets were initially approved for minting, but only a portion of those were actually produced.

    Earlier this year Ron created 100 additional sets of the silver strikes, 40 nickel planchet strikes, and 17 gold strikes.

    In setting up to make the gold Schlag nickels, Ron struck three copper proofs to test the die set up. I have one of the three copper proofs produced.

    Lots of beautiful high-grade nickels here. Mine is pretty worn (VG-10), but it has something else going for it.
