These coins came in a lot. They are nice except for disease!

Verdi-Gone seems to help or are these too seriously troubled?

I've used Verdi-gone and I liked the results. Your coins may due well using it carefully. However, that is a decision only you should make. Try it on some common cents and see how it works.

    Tough decision.

If I understand the cause correctly, exposure to the atmosphere is the culprit.
Remove contact with the air and you stop the process (holders such as AirTites).
Unfortunately the damage that has already occurred cannot be reversed.
    So the decision is:
    - do you want your coins to look nice, or
    - do you want your coins to retain as much numismatic value as possible.

I don't think(?) you can have both.

    BTW, nice coins.
I used to collect GB&BC so I particularly like your QV cent.
