    My favorite architectural type is a provincial of Mac and Di.

    Reverse features a temple to Fortuna, which I think we can confidently reconstruct as below:

    I wonder why this does not come in the form of a sestertius.

    Wonderful coin eparch, yes it is a shame they don't come as a Sestertius but Nero minted so many great Sestertius that my guess it was probably in queue, although the Dupondius of this type are still reasonably large at 29mm average.

    Hello Valentinian. Yes, they are all my coins collected over decades of devotion to mainly the first century. I mistakenly called them Asses while the Macellum issues are actually dupondii.
    I enjoy all your posts very much!
