Got nothing special for 2013 so here my favorite of the 1 Euro Cent coins:

Can we please not be in too much of a hurry to progress to the next year? I thought we had agreed to wait about 24 hours with no activity before doing so. 2013 Switzerland 5 francs, often called the "Wilhelm Tell" issue.

 

There was well over 24 hours between the last 2014 and first 2013. I don't think we've been in too big of a hurry to move forward so far.

I thought I didn't have many interesting coins from 2013, as a couple others have also said, but on second look I have enough that I can make two posts out of it. Here's the first batch:

This is one of my favorite bimetallic coins due to the unusual gray on gray combination.

The only colorized coin I've found in circulation in the US.

2013 Japanese 100-yen. Other than what I assume to be coin-roll-machine damage on the 100, she's real perty.

 

The last 2014 was early Thursday morning (EDT), the first 2013 was Friday afternoon.

I am in a different time zone, usually on a different day also. Mine shows Thursday 2:25 PM and Friday 11:35 PM. Therefore I stand corrected as the difference is in excess of 24 hours. Chile 2013 500 pesos.
