Nice coin. Sure looks to be a 65. Are the marks on the cheek luster breaks, or contact marks? I don’t know what PCGS was thinking in not grading this beauty as a 65. The 3 little reed marks by the mouth on the obverse? I just don’t see it as less than gem grade.

Luster breaks and I was thinking the same when I bought this coin.

That is what I thought. I have a MS 66 PCGS 1923 Peace Dollar, and yours looks closer to 66 than 64 to me, and I have owned a heck of a lot of Peace Dollars.

    Here is my 66:

Our two coins could be twin sisters.
