1943 war Penny

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with that. Any coin shop should have some steel cents you could pick up.

its just i bought a few rocks online for my rock collection a few yrs ago and i never got them

 

Coin shops may have the 1943 Steel Cent P, D and S Mint set.
They should be less than $10.00

They made a ton of them and one pops up in circulation from time to time.
I found a decent one metal detecting, and at least 4 in Coin Star reject slot (wrong metal, so it spits it out thinking it's a foreign coin.)
If you don't need them to be in perfect condition, every coin store has a box of these somewhere for .25 cents or less apiece.
As for the one in the packaging that has been reprocessed there's nothing you can do with it. The reprocessing makes them look good, but they are damaged and worthless.

 

My LCS sells these at 6 for $1.00. They are not expensive. I can get 6 of them with rust spots, reprocessed, low mint state or anything in between. They were produced in Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco.

 

I will do you better than that I will send you a 43 war pennies but I can't promise you there top of the line but there not bad eather I have all 3 or the the p the d and the s so I have ever one I just got 3 more the other day I want lie they said they are plentiful but you could fool me I'm a hard core roll hunter I have never found one in a roll I remember trying to get my first crazy I ended up some guys I knew had some put back he just give them to me and another guy give me the all three mints one at one time so this is me giving back send me a address and I will send you a one war penny I will try to send you a good one so don't be mad if it ant in the best shape. I don't know what you are trying to do make a set or what or just like to have one I don't know your plans I'm into very high mint grade coins and errors and varieties I love it but that is me but man there is a lot to what I do it's not that easy when it comes to errors and varieties just to no the difference is a lot of work I put hours in this but you will see me all the time posting something that is what I do I have this 82 p large date copper penny that is a doubled die obverse I am pretty sure I been looking for this coin for months I am trying my best to find a 82 p doubled die reverse zinc penny the most money for the 82 but there are more than just theme two but any small date copper or zinc don't matter in high mint like a 67 or 68 are worth a lot of money but there is only so many left.when they made that switch it changed everything about the penny so if you can come across any of them keep them they will be worth something one day just hang on to them I'm not trying to tell you what to do buy no means just trying to help so if you want that get a hold of me will go from there.

It was a gift I have better ones than that just laying around but they are hard to find roll hunting but like collection nut said you could find you a store that deals with coins and find some low grade coins for no more than 50 cents and that is high I never bought one for real I go out there and hunting theme down people got just don't mess with them no more and give them I have a few I got a couple that really might be worth looking at there super nice would not depart from them sorry but I will send you one maybe were from don't have know shops were I from there is nothing like that here you got to do alot of traveling to even find a yi Liv in the mountains the closest place to even get gas for your car is 30 miles so when you do make it there the town has one red light in it and they just put it in just back of this I think they did it just to say we have a light. All jokes aside I would probably just about leave my state too find a real place that just deals with coins and nothing else I would probably bet on it so ever coin I have has story behind it it's fun I just got a 64 silver quarter give to me the other day came out of the store The owner has been there for 30 years now it's crazy what a collection of coins he has any thing you want got the 1909s penny in mint shape he will bring some to work with him I will stop by and look at his coins he like Bentley I have coins that most people only here about they will never see one I got any kind of different countries coins to Japan he was telling me how many indian head penny's he has just right out of the store he will even tell them do you even know what you got he is honest person I think the world of him I'm trying to figure out were his collection is going when he passes away he told me that he told his son if I die make sure you don't throw them away he is not into coins people around here don't care about no old coin he has what is that coin that has a flying bird of sort post to be worth a lot of money he just showed it to me in nice shape seems like it is in the 1800 hundreds what that coin got it out of the store years ago he got it put up in a flip. He said most of his coins are just laying in boxes he said he opened a droor in his house found a thousand dollars worth of cash laying in there coins he said laying ever wear he said he had a nuff silver coins he could retire and not worry about anything thing now that a collection I want lie I'm trying to some of them he thinks the world of me I go to the store just to see him he will ask me what I been finding he pulled out a Japan coin I believe it has a bear on it got it out of the store I'm like crazy it is smaller than are dime. I was walking I get up every morning and walk a couple miles through the country side found a coin on the ground lucky all I can say to even see it I mean just walking and found a nother coin from a nother county it is smaller than are dime I don't know what it is it has a lot of ware on it and God only knows how long it has been there just laying out like that I can't find it no we're on the phone I can't get a real good look at it so it is throwing me off maybe I can find it and send it out on the other countries coins maybe some one wlll know I guess no big deal I thought it was neat. I am saving up the money as we speak I'm going to find me a nice metal dictor I didn't spell that right but you know what I'm talking about so I am going to try to find some old man Mason jars full of old coins some date they are gold in it but yeah I going to put down roll hunting for a while I will still go pick them up I just going to stock pile a bunch of different types of coins I go through them all. I found a 1949 p nickel last night in a roll pretty shape front and back the memorial building has a lot of ware it but other than that it's a nice piece building a Jefferson collection I only go to 1964 and down to I think it's a 39 maybe the first one I have one I can't remember what the mint is but it is nice I found 2 1970 s nickles Last night keeper one in pretty bad shape the other one is a nice piece it's a keeper for sure I don't have no how many war nickels I have.

I’ve found a few roll hunting but still need the S mint mark one. Their out there

 

I got a bunch of s wheat Penny's if you need a little help I'm sure I could come up with a bunch of them I still like some of the low dates but I got now I think so that mid 20 and up I have all kinds of them. I been trying to build a Jefferson set I have about all the dates but I'm liking some of the s coins hard to find but I believe there out there found a 1919 buffalo nickel the other day in a roll you can actually see the date but it is wore some it ant perfect that is for sure but it ant bad guy give me tonight a 1952 d pretty good shape and give me a 1939 d I am sure but the mint mark is all messed up it looks like a filled in d. I won't to thank everyone that post on here I can take what ever body got to say every body has there own opinion about people coins. Thanks guys and lady not going to forget you and thanks.

 

Mamm I have a 1943 p if you would like it I could send it to you I don't care I have a few. I know how it is not to find a war penny I found 3 in one roll back of this I have some pretty nice ones I really don't care to. I could send you some s Penny's to give me a little bit of time I will get them all to gather I guess I will put them in a roll I will try to pick you out some good ones I have thousands of wheat pennies. I have found most of them roll hunting its crazy how many I have found in rolls.
