Is this Balbinus?

    I came across this coin described as Valerian, but could this be Balbinus?

    I looked like IMP C P L to me which would indicate Valerian.
    I also don't see a coin of Balbinus listed with that reverse.
    My bet is that they are correct with Valerian.

    I think it is Valerianus I

    ..it's almost one of those worn coins that can become anything you wish it to...and its a thrill for a moment eh?!...:D...but no, its Valerian l...:)

    My first impression was definitely Valerian, just based on portrait style.

    I agree , it definitely looks like Valerianus.
