I'm going to send my second package to ANACs for grading, this time modern foriegn coins, the Food for ALL coins that I brought during the pandemic. 19 coins all together, although some don't have dates. It is not cheap but it is fun. I will send a picture of the set with it, to make it easier, I hope https://www.fao-coins.info/images/fao2a.jpg
Ah, There was a Frank here, and I named myself 'the other Frank'. so no one would be confused, but they shouldn't. he was nice
Yikes! They can ask whatever they want to on Ebay, it doesn't mean it's going to sell. good luck capthank!
Ones that show clash on both sides sell around $100. I think if you got it for face value, and anacs grading, you can make a couple bucks, but I don't think it's going to be $1000 or $100 even unless the clash is clear on both sides.
Listed or sold, big difference. Die clashes happen frequently. They can be neat, but unless they are extremely heavy (like say 70% or the image from the other side transfers) they typically don't add value. If you are wanting it just for your own sake that can be different, and in which case ANACS is a good choice.
i was just looking at 3 examples today on ebay, one was 90.00 another 112.00 and the last was 241.00, all 3 had varying degrees of clash showing...for my money i would not pay more than 50.00 for a nice one though
