2002 $5 Gold Coin Errror

    I recently purchased a 2002 $5 Gold coin and noticed it has an error in the lettering. They looked to be doubled. I was wondering what the value of the coin would be. I tried to get a good photo but it is a little weak. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    It appears to be mechanical doubling to me.

    I agree, definitely mechanical doubling. It does not add any value to the coin.
