I found this in a roll yesterday I been trying to find something about it. It looks like it might have some doubling on the Monticello I'm not for sure. I have a few more of these coins but this is the only one that stands out like it does. I would appreciate all the help I can on this one.

I believe this coin has been in the ground or something at one time in it's life. But was just wondering about the back I've heard of a doubled die reverse on this coin but like I said it is a lot different than the others I have.

It’s beat up in the wrong areas. I can see any doubling.

I see no doubling on Monticello. There are 16 DDR's for this date on Variety Vista. Try to do a bit of research first before posting, you will gain the respect from other members, as well as over 90% of the time you will discover your own answer.

I see no doubling on the letters and Monticello is too "messed up" to show any doubling.
For your own sake, and ours, try not to look for errors on coins that are so beat up.
Try not to let yourself get "hung up" on something like this.
There's a name for what you're experiencing with this coin, and I know others, including myself, have explained this to you. It's important to remember what you've been taught.
Can you remember the name for what I'm describing?

BTW, Good Luck in your CRS !

I'm not sure maybe tell me that look for high grade coins don't worry so much about the errors and varieties. Only thing comes to mind but I guess it could be about anything. But thanks for the info I know the coin ant pretty I guess if it was one it would not be worth anything.
