    Picked this up yesterday from Andy Singer who is one of the best dealers around. A lot of you would have known by seeing the flip even if his name wasn’t on it.

    Anonymous. Circa 235 BC. Æ Double Litra. Rome mint. Head of Hercules right, wearing lion’s skin; club below / Pegasus right; club above, ROMA below. Crawford 27/3; Sydenham 7; HN Italy 316; RBW 54. Dark green-brown surfaces. VF.


    Always special to find an early bronze that’s not corroded. Please add anything you like.
