Hello everyone, bought some pennies awhile back and found this 1993 Lincoln cent and was wondering if the word Liberty is considered a Double die? Kind of a cool looking penny, just my opinion.
    Thank you

I think the doubling on your coin is cause by Die Deterioration, note how all the doubling is between the design elements and the edge of the coin. This is the direction of metal flow, which wears the die next to each design element in the flow direction..

I agree with DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling

    Not a Doubled Die variety
