I would like to ask a question. It can be anonymous. There is no contact information on the website. Thanks.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t any help https://www.whois.com/whois/smalldollars.com Apparently run by someone named Mike Wallace https://www.collectorsweekly.com/hall-of-fame/view/smalldollars-com
there is an email address in older captures at the internet archive... Stick with 2003, in 2001 it appears it was an adult site. mailto:mike@smalldollars.com
Even in 2002 it wasn't uncommon to pickup an existing site that had lapsed and use it for a year or two for whatever traffic it received. It would have still been in sesrch results and such for a while. Lots of dot.boom sites suffered that fate.
It's ok, thanks for looking into it. I don't even remember he correction is was minor. Plus I don't think someone is going to update that website.
I know Mike. Recently bought some of his collection. He hasn't been maintaining the site in a couple years. He is still active on an alternate coin forum. I will give him a link to this thread. Not sure if he frequents CT or not. Z
Asher, I haven't been on here for a couple of years. ZoidMeister alerted me to your post. I THINK I sent you a private message with my contact info. I hope I did it right. BTW, I've owned, and first posted as SmallDollars.com, since Feb. 2001. It was never an adult site, at least not since I've owned it. LOL
@MWallace I was surprised too at the page in the Internet archive.... long ago and far away, maybe the hosting company had interesting choices of parking pages. . The 1st page isn't too bad... I did not follow the links https://web.archive.org/web/20010331201913/http://www.smalldollars.com/
