This one hurt, but it filled in the hole. Collection officially complete!

Now, I have officially spent half of the money from the sale of my 1893s, and can take a breather from my buying spree. This was a satisfying way to officially say “goodbye” to the Morgan Key!

Nice! I think Kennedy stuff will explode one day. I'm collecting older silver in hopes. Nice gold piece!

I’m like you. I think that half was one of the more inspired designs to come out of the mint.

That is nice. It is the only Kennedy that I don't have. I can't make myself get one.

He was a favorite. The people really loved this guy. Ultimately he was the one who said he wanted to send a man to the moon before the end of the decade. Even though he didn't live to see it, it happened....

I waited in line overnight in the streets of Chicago for two straight nights to buy that for $1170 and turn around and flip it for $3500. Bet you got it CHEAP!

Kennedy was my Commander in Chief. We were all very nervous during the Cuban blockade.

Nice Kennedy Half and really desirable. But I sure could use that 93 Key Morgan. Ahh, maybe one day.

I did not do quite that well, as spot was $1374 that day for .75 OZ, but close to that.

Nice but I would rather have the 1893 S

I had the pleasure of two different 1893s coins for 12 years. To me, there really are more special coins, honestly. It is a key coin, but so overhyped, sometimes.

I bought one raw on eBay when gold was fairly low. It has a copper spot, but I'm not bothered by it. I was actually thinking of carrying it as a pocket piece -- what will the lowball grade be for a gold Kennedy? -- but I can't bring myself to do it, and the coins I have been carrying aren't showing much wear at all anyhow, so apparently I don't know how to do it correctly. It's a nice coin, and even with gold up, I'm not tempted to sell it.

I'm still not sure I think of it as "a member of the Kennedy series", but I understand the reasoning of those who do. Congrats on the final piece!

I was there, and watched you guys on line.

    Nope, didn't buy one.

I said I'd wait for it to drop to spot in 6 + months.

    Never got it.

I paid spot, plus $125. Happy with that.

I'm surprised you could land a 70 at a premium that low, even now!

A few people are overpaying, and most of the ones that aren’t are not moving at premium prices. It just is not that popular right now.
