Actually here is a good use for them. Just imagine shooting an unwelcomed intruder at point-blank range with a few of these rounds.
Since I don't plan on shooting too many intruders in my lifetime, I think I will stick with off the shelf 12 GA rounds rather than taking a chance that either I or someone else close by might get hurt. Anyone who modifies a weapon with intend to use it for self defense tells me that they were just hoping to be able to use it. If so, if they do use it for self defense, as a juror I would be skeptical.
And that’s it right there. Coins and bills are intended to be a certain way. Sometimes they are not. Zinc coins are the worse and the mint doesn’t care. They produce error coins so much with the same problems no one wants them. They are errors but who cares?
