:hammer: I HAVE A 1974 LINCOLN PENNY THAT HAS A DEEPLY STAMPED "SD" INSIDE WHAT LOOKS LIKE A STATE, WHICH IS ALSO DEEPLY STAMPED. IS IT ANYTHING SPECIAL?

    Welcome!!

I've seen these at shows before. Marketers take Lincoln cents and counterstamp the shape of states and the abbreviations in them and sell them for more than a penny. I've seen them sold individually and I've also seen them sold in a set w/ all 50 states on a board shaped like the U.S., similar to some of the state quarter folders. I don't think they are too valuable either. I remember the entire set of 50 w/ the board was maybe $10 or $20. I've seen them on many different dates of Lincolns too.

Did you buy yours or did you find it in circulation? Would be pretty cool just to find one in change, but I probably would spend too much for one from a dealer.

My grandaughter was playing with it. I think I have another one as well. Thankyou for the info. I can't seem to find anything on it at all. Happy New year!
