1944 wheat penny missing 19

    Just bad circulation damage. Looks like the 19 in the date took a good hit at some point in the last ~80 years.

    At certain angles it looks like someone tooled or rubbed the numbers off, just my opinion. PMD.

    With all those horizontal lines, it looks to have been scraped off.

    From the title of the thread I thought for sure this would be a grease filled die. Then after looking at the coin it absolutely looks tooled. Conclusion IMO it is PMD. NAV (No Added Value).

    I’m no expert and my camera is not taking good pics because it’s compromised but those look great and possibly something
