I'm afraid to respond.. There's a new member who says that certain Mint Errors are not errors :depressed:
    (His opinion of course)

    Photo is too 'proof-like' -

Doesn't look like a normal struck thru
of any kind - can you take another photo
    or two without the glare?

Aw, did I scare you? Must have been bad if you're posting passive aggressively about it in random threads...

Photos are too bright to actually tell much. Try different lighting and repost photos maybe.

    Me scared? Never
What makes you think I was talking about you?
You must assume then it was about you o_O

By afraid I meant afraid in getting someone from starting whatever crap they want to bring to this forum.

OK, after various lighting experiments this is what is there, For an unc mint set coin the surfaces are mirrored to an extreme. Trying to stop the light from bouncing around was quite the challenge. It seems to be pitted but I have never seen this on a dime. Whatever it is, it is different, so over to you nice people

WOAH!! What a difference. Now I see what you mean. It doesn’t look like any strike through that I’ve seen. I’m thinking some sort of defect.

For me, the photos - even the new ones - are still not clear enough to tell
