    Hello,
Does anyone use a template for your coins?

Emperor, dates, size, weight, bronze, Denarius etc…..

    Thanks Rich

I do emperor, denomination, size, obverse legend, reverse legend, price, date of acquiring, and whom I purchased from

I’ve been meaning to add weight but at this point it’ll be a chore to update everything accordingly...

I just have a google docs that is separated into 3 columns. Then I can put the info for each coin with Emperor, size, date, obverse, and reverse. This fits nicely into a 2x2 flip (after I cut it out)

    Here is an example:

    Valens
    AE3
    364-367 AD
    Obverse: DN VALEN-S PF AVG,
    pearl-diademed, draped, cuirassed
    bust right
    Reverse: GLORIA RO-MANORVM,
    emperor walking right,
    holding labarum and dragging
    captive behind him

I know it looks really long but in my document, it is formatted to fit into my 2x2 area. If I wanted, I could probably add the weight/diameter as well.

I have this on a Google sheet. I avoided weight because it would stretch beyond the limits of the screen and I hate scrolling sideways. Haha
