Heck of a junk box find. A long time ago I was buying junk silver for a metal detecting hunt, knowing that that members don't collect coins, just hoard silver & gold, i went thru the coins and pulled out a Standing Lib quarter, today it is in an ANACS holder 1921 G-04. At other hunts [planted] I have dug a 1916 S in G, plus two 1921 D's in AG, not at the same hunts. It pays to search junk silver.
Built a nice collection last year of proofs from 1950-1962 & the older they got, the hazier and cloudier the coins were. This is one of the nicer ones.
Thanks, I do try to build a nice and a circulation collection. In low grade Franklin Halves are easy to assemble but in a higher grade there are a few very difficult dates.
