I have a 1933 quarter,it doesn’t look fake?

Unfortunately it is.

 

I think moonlight mint made some.

 

Considering 1933 was a depression year it shouldn't be a surprise there is little coinage from that year.

 

Unless your quarter is Canadian, then it is undoubtedly a fake or fantasy restrike.

I have a quarter dated 1933

 

I will post or send pics once I get home - I’m away and I’ll be back home in the next couple of days to show this quarter that supposedly was never made.

 

I have a 1933 quarter and this quarter isn’t fake at all.

 

Without pictures we don't know it could be and most likely is I suggest to start your own thread with pictures.

 

I totally believe you have (an only) million dollar quarter.

 

It may not look fake, but it's very likely foreign, altered or a fantasy coin. Even if one existed, it would likely trace back to a Mint director, politician or foreign dignitary and not made for circulation.

I someone DID have a 1933 Washington Head quarter, what should I be looking for, because it sure looks like 1933 to me!!!

Doesn't exist,Probably something else like a fantasy piece not the real deal.

 

Maybe a David Carr from Moonlight mint? Haven't seen any but it wouldn't hurt to shoot them an e-mail.
