My brother give me this one he said some one give him on a trade. Plus he give me a 5 coin Gold plate set of coins he said he found them brung theme to me.
When the state quarter series came out a whole new generation of coin collectors were born. Along with that came the era of TV coin hawksters. I can remember like it was yesterday hearing Mike Mezack selling these…… For a low monthly payment he promised you would be the first to receive a P and D mint quarter as well as his guaranteed to increase dramatically in value, a gold plated state quarter with your order……… Yeah, old Mike did quite well selling these on the tube….. Over the years, people lost interest and spent them. I have several myself….. Well, a true coin collector views the gold plated quarter as damaged goods….. They are a fun diversion, but plain and simple are damaged coins.
Yeah there not worth much I just thought it was something different in my coin collection that's about all.
