Type II Silver Eagles less impressive in-hand

Where is a link for the fake V75 Silver Eagles? I would like to check mine to see if is real. I bought it off of ebay.

It reminds me of the Canadian eagle from the birds of prey series.

 

I like the original reverse design better... I don't like how the eagle's wing is clipped out of frame. I also like how the original reverse eagle looked more like it was an official seal design.

 

I like both designs and I'm sure it will grow on me in time and I'll like it even more than I do now.

 

Imagine what the coins would look like had we went with the Wild Turkey as the national symbol

I went to a small coin show in Telford, PA yesterday and one of the dealers had some @$45.00 ea. in a capsule. People were buying them and they looked good.
I have some that should be here today, so I'll post images later.

 

I don't really care for the way the wing dies into the rim. I'm thinking that is going to be a weak spot in the die.

 

If the mint wanted to have a flying eagle, they should have for the Gobrechet Dollar design.

 

Why should you think it’s not feasible to create a beautiful design that meets anti-counterfeiting requirements?
